Terms & Conditions


On acceptance of our quote for catering services from Catering Sydney, a 20% deposit of the total quote is required.

The 20% deposit is forfeited if there is a cancellation of an accepted quote for catering services within 7 days of the date of the function the deposit was paid for, regardless of the reason for the cancellation.

Cancellation of an accepted quote within 3 days of the date of the function will incur a further 30% charge of the total quote.

Should there be a reduction of numbers originally quoted for within 7 days of the date of the function, the original quote that was accepted will apply.

Functions booked on days listed as Public Holidays will incur a 20% increase on the total bill.

All staff are booked for a minimum of 4 hours at any function, any time past the 4 hours will be charged at the agreed hourly rate. Travel time will be charged at the hourly rate.

On confirmation of your function with us, written or verbal will be deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Payment Methods

For deposit and final payment of quoted services we accept:

Cash
Cheque
Visa & MasterCard
American Express (+ 2.5% of the total bill)
EFT (By prior arrangement and final payments to be transferred to our account within 24 hours of the date of the function)

Central Catering Sydney carries full workers compensation and $20,000,000.00 Public Liability.

Staff Rates

The number of staff required depends on the particular function.

Menu prices do not include staff and all staff are hired at a minimum of 4 hours at the following rates, GST inclusive:

Function Supervisor:
Monday to Friday - $49.10 per hour
Saturday - $55.00 per hour
Sunday - $62.50 per hour

Bar and Waiting staff:
Monday to Friday - $41.80 per hour
Saturday - $47.25 per hour
Sunday - $53.700 per hour

Qualified Chef:
Monday to Friday - $51.25 per hour
Saturday - $58.00 per hour
Sunday - $65.10 per hour
